Welcome!

Meet Krista & Jesse Fitton, having met each other in 2014 when working at Lake Superior Provincial Park, as Interior Park Rangers maintaining trail systems together, are now married with two wild-hearted kiddos. Jesse grew up in Goulais River, but Krista is from Southern Ontario. It didn’t take much convincing on Jesse’s part for them to decide to make roots in Goulais.

Meet the owner of Wild Stems

Krista’s love for anything plants is undeniable; she is a planner, planter, and keeper of the gardens. She graduated from Wilfred Laurier University with an environmental Biology Degree specializing in plant chemistry and physiology. Krista’s knowledge, combined with experience, and A LOT of trial and error, has helped her and Jesse create a healthy environment for perennials, annuals, biennial, flowers, vegetables, and fruits alike, to flourish on their homestead. If you thought Krista was already a busy bee, she is also the owner and operator of Wild Stems Flower Farm, where she feels called to bring the same joy and happiness she feels for plants, to others!
