Natural Experiences...for life!

Guiding you out of the hustle & bustle into the abundance of nature

Welcome to the Homestead!

As a homestead, we are working together with our family, for the greater good of the community, environment, and future generations;

Homestead North is an eco-tourism destination and food producing farm, with educational & recreational opportunities

for those who have the desire to live in harmony with the world around them.

"When I began helping Matthew and Caycee in the summer of 2021, I enjoyed how I was taught through experience on forest maintenance (it’s long-term and short-term view), permaculture foundations, community hospitality and fellowship. I went on to spent the following fall and winter working on prospective campsites and network trails. On the next step of their homesteading journey, I am excited to be helping them with sustainably logging from the forest, building structures, and contributing to their homesteading foundations. I look forward to seeing Homestead North grow and how others will contribute in the future!"

Core Values

Regeneration

Why strive for a regenerative permaculture homestead, if we degenerate ourselves in the process? The regenerative paradigm must include ourselves.

Community

When a group of people are working together toward common goals, there are various gifts that contribute to the whole of that community. Your community is your team, and they can make a powerful difference.

Reconnection

We believe that to reconnect to ones inner world, is to also reconnect to ones outer world and environment. Walk barefoot, breathe the fresh air; hug the tree; feel the water; smell the flowers.

Reciprocity

Reciprocity plays a significant role in the previous three core values. In regeneration, community, and reconnection, there is both GIVE and TAKE, naturally. What this looks like can be different for each person’s individual experience.
